Overview.
Norway is wild and raw nature at its best. It is Europe’s last frontier, and a country of unparalleled natural beauty. We traverse jaw-dropping landscapes, incredible fjords, giant mountains, remote roads, mirror-like lakes, impressive glaciers, ancient viking settlements ,and some of the best hotels in the world.
Wild and Dramatic.
This route is an incredible challenge of 800km from Bergen to Ålesund. The adventure is meticulously designed to explore the most dramatic corners of the wild west coast of the country. We will also visit secret corners that only the most adventurous explorers will get to know.
The route.
Its orography is very unique and unlike any other place in the continent due to the presence of iconic fjords, which are ancient glacier valleys that were once engulfed by frozen ocean. Some of them meander more than 200 kilometers inland, colliding with giant mountains, impressive rock walls and the surviving remains of those ancient glaciers.
Bergen
The route starts in Bergen, the second-largest city in the country and an important cultural and historic site. After visiting the main attractions such as the famed fish market and tasting f the local wild salmon, we will head north and meander along the coastline.
Fjords, glaciers and incredible mountains
Once we cross the first fjords by ferry, we will be far from civilization and entering in the depth of the wild west coast where the mountains keep growing taller and the fjords keep getting deeper and mightier. We will ride in the Jostedalsbreen National Park and spend a couple of nights in the famed and iconic Geiranger fjord, where we can enjoy a rest day or add on extra miles for those who want to go extreme.
Epic roads and Ålesund
The final few days are mind-blowing as we ride on epic roads like the famed Trollstigen. The adventure will culminate getting to the picturesque town of Ålesund, where we will celebrate our incredible Viking adventure
