The route
A feast for the senses and an iconic challenge.
BASQUE COUNTRY: GASTRONOMIC MECCA
Our journey begins in the Basque Country, famous for having the highest concentration of Michelin-starred restaurants per capita in the world. We savor the “pintxos” and take in the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, before we set off into the rural interior.
The legendary passes
The mountains keep getting bigger as we approach the Central Pyrenees. The route quickly becomes thrilling and challenging as we reach the legendary Tour de France passes, such as the Col d’Aubisque, Col du Tourmalet, and Col de Peyresourde, among many others.
REACHING THE MEDITERRANEAN
From the forest and alpine-like vistas, the landscape gradually changes to small, meandering roads through charming medieval towns, gentle rolling hills, and beautiful farmlands. Lastly, we arrive at the stunning and rugged coastline of Girona and its Costa Brava.
