Overview.
This is one of the most epic, exuberant, and exotic experiences we offer you. This route traverses Mexico from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific over the two large mountain ranges: Sierra Madre Oriental and Sierra Madre Occidental, both up to 3,000m in altitude. The landscape, culture, and gastronomical variety experienced in this route in just six days will absolutely blow your mind.
Cultural explosion.
This route is especially recommended for those who are genuinely adventurers and want to be pioneers. This route did not open for cyclists until 2021, when we did the inaugural version of the trip.
If you are up for a great challenge both physically and culturally, and you are open to experience the spectacular variety of landscapes and climates Mexico has to offer, as well as the cultural and gastronomic exuberance, this trip is definitely for you!

The route.
This trip will start in Veracruz where we greet all our guests and assemble your bikes with our trusted Mexican partners.
Gulf of Mexico
The route kicks off with a very flat, long stage along the deserted coast of the Veracruz state. As we start going inland, the landscape changes from cane sugar plantations to mountains and the rainforest.
Sierra Madre & Oaxaca
We climb this spectacular massif twice, from sea level to 3,000m. First over the Oriental side, down to the high desert of beautiful Oaxaca, in one of the longest climbs in the world. Then up again on the Occidental side, where the temperatures will drop towards the top and we will feel the Atlantic breeze in the form of thick fog. A truly magical experience.
The Pacific Coast
A long, fun, twisting and turning descent through lush jungle and spectacular forest roads. We try local tropical fruits and treats as the temperatures warm up again. We finish with a bang in the amazing Puerto Escondido, celebrating with cold beers and delicious fish tacos!
